Investigating Microfilaria as well as Trypanosoma Parasites Prevalence in Cattle in the Accra Plains of Morocco

چکیده
The present study was conducted from January 2013 and February, 2013 to find out microfilaria as well as Trypanosomiasis prevalence in cattle in Tangier in Morocco in relation to livestock health as per PCV counts. The findings demonstrate that Trypanosoma parasites were missing, conversely, microfilaria parasites were present. The prevalence level of microfilaria in the cattle was 6.5% (p<0.05). This was proved in the bulls as well as the cows. The PCV arrays were; calves, 26-40 (p<0.05), cows, 26-34 (p<0.05) and the bulls, 21-29 (p<0.05), correspondingly. These findings demonstrated that the unremitting checking and dealing of Trypanosomiasis by the Ministry is valuable in controlling the infection among cattle. Nevertheless, the findings furthermore illustrated that microfilaria parasites were ubiquitous. This come into view to have affected the health status of the cattle with low PCV counts as scrutinized in the bulls. The implication for health along with reproduction would be feeble calves and less efficient chuming in the adults of reproductive age.
